We had the opportunity to construct the brainchild of artist Alex Schweder and brought to fruition by Ian Reeves/San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
This is a moving house with rooms continually inflating and deflating. The shapes are mesmerizing as the rooms take on a life of their own. The lines add definition and separation depicting an architects technical drawings.
Again, this past year, We fabricated another of his Alex Schweder’s creations: “Roomograph” for the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln Massachusets. This is constructed with day glow fur and clear vinyl. It is animated by inflating and deflating each room sequentially. |
